So from what I understand, we were playing disciplined to start the game, but the referee made some admittedly bad calls, and we got frustrated and then started playing undisciplined?

Hopefully we Johnson says is spot on and they really have addressed those issues. If they can stay out of the box, they will be just fine, but when the PK struggles as it has, you just cannot keep going into the box with silly penalties. And as far as the fights go, there is a time and a place, but we see how that worked the last time we won all the fights and missed on two points.

Mark Miller was getting a penalty while on the PP and Tate didn't like the hit on Suter. Tate was looking for a fight all night. After the brawl, Lincoln played some uninspired hockey and couldn't get much of anything going. It was a great game in the 1st and both teams had some great opportunities, but both goalies were making the saves.

Most of the shots in the 3rd on Demko were right in his chest, making it easy to make the save. Roy was out there a lot and tried to do too much himself. Stars would skate into the Lancer zone and wind up for a slap shot just a few feet from inside the blue line. Had one goal waved off because it was kicked in, but that was about the only time (outside of the goal they did score) where they had sustained pressure around the net.
