We have ice!

Quick blog article this afternoon after I stopped by the IceBox earlier today and snapped a few pictures of the ice and graphics/lines being painted.  Hockey season is just around the corner!  Most of the players are already in town, and the Stars will play their first two preseason games later this week in Fargo (9/6 and 9/7).  I'll post more on those two games later in the week.  The USHL will post the updated protected rosters (and affiliate lists) tomorrow (Tuesday), so I will post a blog article about that also.

Anyway, here are some photos I snapped while I was at the IceBox today.  We're almost there, folks!  Go Stars!

It is great to see the ice put in - it seems like it has been a long wait for hockey for Stars fans! With the ice going in earlier than past seasons,it would have been nice to have a preseason game held at the Ice Box. It has been a number of years since we have had that opportunity, but I guess it is what it is.

On the flip side we do get two extra home games this year.
