Congrats to Jackson Teichroeb!

Per the Lincoln Stars and the USHL, goaltender Jackson Teichroeb has committed to Niagara University for this upcoming fall.

Niagara University is located in Lewiston, NY, which is only a two hour drive  from Jackson's hometown of London, Ontario, Canada.  I'm sure Jackson's friends and family are excited for the opportunity to watch him play hockey so close to home.

Jackson will join former Stars players Sam Afieri (2010-11), Nick Cecere (2010-11) next season for the Purple Eagles.

Jackson is playing his second season with the Lincoln Stars, and his third in the USHL.  This season, Jackson has split time with Michael Bitzer and has a record of 15-10-2 with a 2.79 goals against average and a .902 save percentage.

Last season, Jackson split time with Charles Williams and had a record of 18-14-1 with a 2.67 goals against average and a .896 save percentage.

Before being traded to Lincoln in the summer of 2011, Jackson spent the 2010-11 season with the expansion Dubuque Fighting Saints.  Teichroeb went 14-6-5 with a 2.49 goals against average and a .905 save percentage in 2010-11 for Dubuque.  The Fighting Saints won the Clark Cup that particular season.

Jackson has definitely paid his dues over the past few seasons, so it's very nice to see him get rewarded with this commitment.  Best of luck to him next season at Niagara!
