B³ Postgame Recap: Tri-City 3, Lincoln 4

The Stars rallied from a 2-3 deficit in the third period to beat the Tri-City Storm by a score of 4-3 tonight in front of 4,033 fans at the IceBox in Lincoln.

The Stars are now 6-0-0 in six games against the Storm this season.

With the win, the Stars improved to 24-14-3 (51 points) and are still one point behind the Omaha Lancers in fifth place in the USHL Western Conference.

The Lancers squeaked by the Buccaneers tonight in Des Moines by a score of 2-1 (overtime shootout).  Omaha is in fourth place with 52 points, and Fargo is in third place with 53 points.  Click here to view the current USHL standings.

Scoring for the Stars tonight was Eric Schurhamer (his first in a Stars uniform), Jimmy DeVito, Zack Pittman (his first in a Stars uniform), and Phil Marinaccio (game winning goal). Michael Bitzer stopped 27 of 30 shots to record his 14th win of the season.
