Help support USA Floor Hockey in the 2013 Special Olympics

I received an email from a blog reader today about a cause that has nothing to do with the Lincoln Stars or the USHL, but I thought it was important enough to devote an article to.

I'm lucky enough to get a lot of hits on this blog, and I think it's only right to try to give back at times and do what I can to highlight certain causes that I believe deserve the attention.  It's the least that I can do.

I'm going to post a quote from an email that I received from Tyler this morning about the cause he is championing:

The unified floor hockey team from South Sioux City will be representing Nebraska Special Olympics and the United States at the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in South Korea. We are also going to a week long training camp the start of December in Lake Placid, NY. In order to be able to go on this trip, our team has to raise half of the cost, which is $28,000. We have currently raised over $18,000 of that goal.

I'm going to post some links below that I hope my readers will check out.  Please find it in your heart to help out this group and assist them in their drive to a goal of $28,000.  I know Tyler and the organizers at SiouxLand USA Floor Hockey would appreciate your support.  Click here to learn how your or your company can help donate to this cause.

I'm also going to post a permanent link on the right hand portion of the blog to help generate interest.  Thanks for reading.
