"Stars Watch Party" at Qdoba this Wednesday

You may already heard about this, but the Lincoln Stars are having a watch party for Game 3 of the Stars-Force series at Qdoba Mexican Grill this Wednesday evening.  This event will be held at the downtown Qdoba location, which is at 211 North 12th Street in Lincoln.

Here's the quote from the Lincoln Stars website:

Join us at Qdoba downtown (12th & P Street) for a "Stars Watch Party" on Wednesday, April 25 when the Stars travel to Fargo for Game 3 vs. the Force. We'll be on the patio with the game on the big screen starting at 6:45pm. The puck drops at 7:05pm.

Personally, I think it's really nice to see the Stars organization reach out to the fans with this event.  Last year about this time I blogged about why a watch party for a Stars road playoff game would be a great idea.  So you can probably guess that I was pretty pumped to first hear about this watch party when it was announced at the IceBox this past weekend.

I've never been to this Qdoba location in downtown Lincoln, but I've heard a lot of good things about the food and the environment (especially the outdoors patio area where the watch party will be held).  I believe they do serve bottled beer at this location, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

I hope to see a lot of other Stars fans there this Wednesday evening.  The weather looks like it will cooperate (highs in the upper 80's), so there's no excuse not to be there.  I think a big crowd would also be a great way to show the Stars organization that future watch parties would be a good idea as well.  So be there and root on the Stars!

Wish I could make it down for that, sounds like it should be a fun time.
