Chad Johnson to coach the 2012 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

According to the article linked here, Lincoln Stars head coach Chad Johnson was one of two USHL head coaches selected to participate in the 2012 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game which will be held on Tuesday, January 24th in Muskegon, MI.

Chicago, IL - The United States Hockey League today announced the coaches who will lead the 40 USHL players during the 2012 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game presented by CCM. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, January 24th, 2012 at the L.C. Walker Arena in Muskegon, Michigan.

Legendary coaches Ron Mason and Dave Siciliano will serve as honorary coaches during the event while Derek Lalonde of the Green Bay Gamblers and Chad Johnson of the Lincoln Stars, whose teams were leading their respective conferences on January 1st, have been selected to lead the two teams.

Members of the Lincoln Stars who were selected to play in the top prospects game are forwards Zach Aston-Reese, Luke Johnson, Kevin Roy, and defenseman Mike McKee.

According to this link, FASTHockey.com is planning on broadcasting the USHL/NHL top prospects game for free.  

Congrats to Chad!  Always nice to see our players and coaches recognized for their hard work.
