Congrats to Colten Saucerman!

The college commitments are fast and furious this week!

I noticed this morning on Chris Heisenberg's NCAA recruiting site that Lincoln Stars defenseman Colten Saucerman has committed to play his collegiate hockey at Northeastern University.  Click here to read more.

Colten is a 5'9", 186 lbs defenseman from Colorado Springs, CO.  In four games with the Stars this season, Saucerman has 2 points (1g, 1a), and 0 penalty minutes.  Colten's lone goal was the game-winner during the Stars' home opener win against the Sioux Falls Stampede on 9/30/11.

Saucerman will start at Northeastern in the fall of 2012.  I've stated this before, but Northeastern University has been a popular college among former, and current, Stars players.  That list includes former Stars defenseman Jake Newton, forward Brodie Reid, forward Garrett Vermeersch, defenseman Ben Oskroba, and current forward Zach Aston-Reese (2013).

Congrats once again to Colten!
