We're getting closer....

Earlier today I decided to swing by the IceBox and see how the ice build process was coming along, and snap a few pictures of the progress.  All of the on-ice logos and lines were already down, and the staff there were getting ready to flood the surface with more water and build up a more layers of ice above the logos and lines.  According to this link on the Lincoln Stars website, it appears the ice will be ready on Thursday, or Friday of this week.  The Stars will play their first preseason game on Thursday, September 15th against the Tri-City Storm in Kearney, so it appears that they will not be able to practice on the ice at the IceBox before that game.  Like last season, the Stars might end up practicing at Tranquility IcePlex in Omaha this week before their game against the Storm.  Enough babbling from me....here are some of the pics I took today.
