Congrats to John McCarron

Lincoln Stars forward John McCarron was named the USHL/CCM Offensive Player of the Week today for his efforts this past weekend.  Here is an excerpt from the USHL article:

McCarron
scored five points (3g, 2a) and posted a plus-four rating as the Stars locked in a playoff spot over the weekend.  He had a three-point game (2g, 1a), including scoring the game-winning goal, in Friday's 5-4 win over Muskegon.  McCarron also fired a game high seven shots in the contest.  He added two points (1g, 1a) in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Sioux City which extended his point streak to five games (4g, 5a).  The native of Macomb, Michigan has tallied at least one point in 12 of his last 13 games.  McCarron, who turns 19 next week, is second on the Stars this season with 53 points (21g, 32a) in 57 games.

Congrats to John!  Very well deserved!
