Congrats to former Lincoln Stars forward Erik Condra for scoring his first two goals of his NHL career last night in the Ottawa Senators 4-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.  Click here to read more.  Condra's first goal of the night turned out to be the game-winning goal.  Condra has now scored 4 points (2g, 2a) in six NHL games with the Ottawa Senators since being called up from the AHL Binghamton Senators.

Condra played 60 games for the Lincoln Stars in the 2004-05 season, accumulating 60 points (30g, 30a) in those sixty games.  After playing one season with the Stars, Condra went on to play four years at the University of Notre Dame.  Condra was a 7th round draft pick by the Ottawa Senators in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Here are some highlights from the Senators 4-1 victory last night.  Condra's first goal comes at the 2:09 mark of the video, and his second goal comes at the 4:20 mark.

Hopefully Ryan can get more playing time in Ottawa than with Chicago. I believe he only played a handful of games with the Blackhawks and spent most of the season with their AHL affiliate in Rockford, Ill.
