Congrats to Kevin Murdock!

Congrats to Kevin Murdock today as he was named the USHL Reebok Goaltender of the Week.  Click here to read the USHL press release.  Here's a quote from the article:
Murdock earned two wins for the Lincoln Stars to help them snap their six-game winless streak.  He stopped all 27 shots he faced in the 3-0 win over Tri-City on Friday.  It was his third shutout of the season which is tied for second among USHL goaltenders.  Murdock then made a season high 39 saves in the 4-3 victory at Omaha on Saturday.  He has won 11 games for the Stars this season, including a stellar 6-1-0 record on the road.  The six road victories are tied for third among USHL netminders.  It is the third USHL season for the 20-year-old native of Bradenton, Florida.  He has appeared in the 73 regular season USHL games and collected 36 wins.

In the two games over the weekend, Doc stopped 66 of 69 shots, for a .957 save percentage.  Not too shabby!

Congrats again to Kevin Murdock!  Well deserved.
