Ryan Dzingel and Team USA Win Gold!

Congrats to Lincoln Stars forward Ryan Dzingel and his USA teammates for capturing gold for the third straight year at the World Junior A Challenge in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada.  In the tournament final, Team USA faced off against Canada East, a team they had beaten previously in the tournament by a score of 6-1.  Team USA fell behind 4-1 in the gold medal game Sunday night, but like the Stars on Saturday night, they never gave up.  USA scored five unanswered goals to roar back and win the gold medal by a score of 6-4.  You can click here and here to read more.

Team USA finished the tournament undefeated with a 5-0 record.  In those five games, USA outscored their competition 27-10.  Dzingel finished the tournament with 4 assists.
