2010 Lincoln Stars Tryout Camp

We are only a few days away from the start of the 2010 Lincoln Stars tryout camp.  This will be our last blog article before the camp begins, so I want to touch on a couple of topics related to the tryouts.  The Stars tryout camp will be held at the Moylan Tranquility Iceplex in Omaha, NE.  All of the tryout sessions are free to the public.

Last year, a ton of Lincoln fans made the trek north to watch tryouts, so I hope to see the same this year.  A reminder for those who have not been to the Moylan Iceplex before, dress warm.  Don't wear shorts, or sandals. Don't wear short sleeve shirts. It is very cold inside, so dress appropriately. Even though the temperature outside may be in the 80's or 90's, you'll probably need a coat inside. Also, if you plan on sitting on the cold, metal bleachers...bring a blanket to sit on.  There is a snack bar inside of the rink, so you'll be able to buy snacks and drinks if needed.

I will be in attendance for the Sunday night session, all day Monday, and the evening session on Tuesday.  I will be my normal spot, on the top row of the tall bleachers. I always enjoy meeting readers of this blog, so please introduce yourself if you see me. I'm a tall, skinny guy in my 30's. Beard. Glasses. I'll probably be taking notes. I will most likely be wearing my gray "North Face" jacket.

See you there!

I printed a set of comments from the blog and the USHL prospects blog about our draft players. If anyone would like me to make some copies as a reminder of who the guys are, let me know and I will bring some with me.
