2009-10 Stars Player Profiles

With the first exhibition game only three weeks away, I thought it would be an appropriate time to start learning about the players who will start this season in Lincoln. I've compiled whatever I could find about each player on Google. If anything is incorrect, or if you have knowledge of something that is not listed, PLEASE feel free to email me at npbelltolls@gmail.com. There are 26 players on this list. At least one of these will not be playing at the Fall Classic, and at least three of these players will not be on the Stars' final roster. Please comment if you know anything about some of these players. Go Stars! -Nate

Starstruck,

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like William Brockett goes by "Tucker." Not seeing Dakota is no surprise. I had heard his parents didn't feel comfortable sending him to Lincoln so young in his hockey career. The bad thing is, unless they can find a way to play him in 10 games, they'll lose him to the USHL draft next Spring. He was born in '94, which is too young for the Stars to place him on their affiliate list.

Also, if Matt White does in fact quit hockey...only 24 players remain. The Stars will cut down to 23 players to start the regular season.

I still think McGroarty has an ace up his sleeve. I would not be surprised if he brings in an overager at the last minute...likely from a WHL team. He could also pick someone up after the Fall Classic from a different team.
